JOGO X Gothia Cup
JOGO is partnering with The World Youth Cup! We are excited to announce our partnership with the Swedish Gothia Cup, the world’s largest and most international youth football tournament. It’s a magical event for youngsters with a shared passion for football, regardless of skin colour, gender or religion.
Every year around 1700 youth teams, boys and girls from 80 countries worldwide, head to the Swedish city Gothenburg to participate in the renowned Gothia Cup. Despite not being able to be at the tournament in person, JOGO is delighted to be able to provide the participating teams and players access to our cutting edge technology and enable them to continue working on their game, improve their skills and most importantly, keep playing the beautiful game!
This year JOGO will be there to strengthen tournament’s teams with full access to its development platform and mobile app so that all players around the globe can boost their game-in training, in matches and at home. This way, they get an extra chance to follow in the footsteps of some notable players that participated in the Gothia Cup, such as Alan Shearer, Andrea Pirlo, Emmanuel Adebayor, Ollie Watkins, Kosovare Asllani, Caroline Seger and Hanna Ljungberg.
James O’Neill, JOGO’s Business Development & Partnership Manager, is thrilled with the new partnership. “We’re looking forward to being part of this truly global youth football tournament as one of the event partners. It’s a great chance to see the future of football in action and familiarise players and coaches with JOGO, a great tool which can effectively help them in pursuing their football dreams.”
