JOGO X SC Cambuur

JOGO X SC Cambuur

JOGO partners with SC Cambuur, the brand-new champion of the Dutch Keuken Kampioen Divisie, the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. The club from Leeuwarden will use the data-driven talent development platform to strengthen its youth academy for future success.

“We made it back to the Eredivisie and want to stay there. To provide a strong foundation for future success, we focus on making our youth academy better through innovation”, explains Jelmer Hofstee, General Youth Coordinator of SC Cambuur. “So when we heard about JOGO and their vision about the use of data in youth development, we knew we had to reach out.”

SC Cambuur, known as a club that takes youth development very seriously, recognized the value of adding JOGO to its academy immediately. “We’re always looking for ways to perfect our youth talent program. JOGO will help us in our mission to create the best possible climate to develop talented regional players into the stars of the future”, motivates Hofstee.

The partnership gives SC Cambuur full access to JOGO’s platform so youth trainers can effectively track, analyze and improve their players with the help of factual data. Besides, they can send out personalized skill assignments to their players through the JOGO app as homework. The youngest youth teams of SC Cambuur (from U9 to U14) will be the firsts to use JOGO.

Frank Zaal, JOGO’s COO, is excited about the collaboration. “It’s fantastic to welcome SC Cambuur as the new champion to the JOGO family. We’re looking forward to supporting them in helping their youth players flourish.”
